Introduction

Candor Vets is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team at a well-established practice in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking for a valued role with strong support for professional development.

The Role

This is a full-time position, with part-time considered, offering a varied rota designed to utilise a full range of nursing skills. The role involves 4 x 10-hour shifts per week and a share of weekday duty shifts focusing on inpatient care and emergency triage, for which a generous monetary bonus is paid. There are no Sunday or Bank Holiday shifts, and Saturday shifts are pro rata.

About the Practice

The practice is a purpose-built, modern facility with excellent resources, holding RCVS Accredited GP Practice status and a Gold Award as an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic. Facilities include on-site inpatient hospitalisation, a mobile Vet and Nurse clinic, a well-equipped in-house lab, digital x-ray and ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laser therapy, and a dedicated quiet room. The team comprises 6 Vets, 7 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 3 VCAs, and experienced admin support, all working collaboratively to deliver outstanding patient and client care.
