The Role

The successful candidate will join a pioneering team at a state-of-the-art clinic. This role is perfect for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who is eager to implement high standards of clinical nursing care and contribute to a modern, client-focused environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring clinical excellence and participating in the development of new protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting screening procedures, including auscultation and sample procurement.

• General anaesthetic monitoring and record keeping.

• Recording accurate and comprehensive clinical notes.

• Administering treatments, as directed.

• Disinfecting surgical rooms, medical equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of clinical workspaces to a high standard.

• Aiding veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures and protocols.

• Tending to unsettled animals with urgency.

• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.

• Boosting pet owners' knowledge about routine and specialised caring procedures.

• Participating in the nurse consult rota as necessary and helping in the delivery of this valuable service.
