About the role

Are you great at developing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients? We are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join a Corporate Tax team in Aberdeen.

You will be the first port of call for clients and will work on a combination of both tax advisory and compliance, including tax advice in respect of matters such as M&A structuring, exit planning, group re-organisations, expansion into overseas territories and much more!

Your responsibilities as a UKI Corporate Tax Manager

You will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and successful delivery of corporate tax services ensuring technical excellence, including the management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding transaction tax projects clients. You will report to Directors and Partners on client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management.
You will build and maintain client relationships and proactively undertake business development activities to help add value to existing clients and develop new opportunities to add value to new clients.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong tax technical and project delivery skills. You should hold an ACA, CA, CTA, completion of the Tax Inspectors' full Technical Training course, a law qualification, a tax specialist qualification, or equivalent knowledge. The ideal candidate should have excellent business development skills, but most importantly, be able to identify new opportunities and clients. You should also have experience of training and developing more junior staff members.
