Night Veterinary Surgeon

Candor Vets is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and dedicated out-of-hours team. This role is based at a well-established RCVS-accredited small animal hospital and emergency services clinic, situated on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds with excellent motorway access to the South West, London, and the North.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a busy hospital that operates from a recently refurbished main facility. This practice boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including four theatres, CT, laparoscopic equipment, rigid and flexible endoscopy, and advanced ultrasound. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of night nurses and will be supported by a large team of day vets, including various certificate holders. The role involves managing a challenging and varied caseload, supporting numerous other practices in the county, as well as the practice's own clients. A confident and thorough approach to emergency medical and surgical procedures is essential.

Working Pattern: The current team works a pattern of 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off (Monday to Sunday), with holiday taken during non-working time.
