The Role

The successful candidate will manage genuine inpatient and emergency cases as part of a dedicated night service. This includes a diverse caseload of medical and surgical emergencies, with the added benefit of support for weekly orthopaedic procedures from the wider surgical team. This is not a role for a lone night veterinarian; instead, it is integral to a well-established emergency and critical care service, ensuring robust handovers, experienced nursing support, and collaborative patient management throughout the night.

The Practice

This 24-hour veterinary hospital in Bolton is a purpose-built facility, meticulously designed for emergency and critical care. It features eight consulting rooms, three theatres, digital radiography, a dental suite, a CT scanner, and a dedicated intensive care unit, alongside separate dog and cat wards. Operating as a Community Interest Company, the organisation prioritises accessible veterinary care and invests heavily in its people, facilities, and clinical standards.
