Veterinary Surgeon – Ashton-under-Lyne

This is an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a large, well-equipped small animal clinic in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, offering a values-led approach to veterinary care and a true four-day working week.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a stable and friendly team, delivering high-quality medicine across a varied and interesting caseload. The role offers a balanced fifty/fifty split between consulting and surgery, allowing for the development of strong client relationships and surgical interests. You will manage complex soft tissue surgery independently and mentor less experienced veterinary surgeons.

The Practice

This small animal clinic is designed around access to care, clinical integrity, and teamwork, rather than hierarchy or targets. It features five consulting rooms, two advanced theatres, a fully equipped dental suite, and separate dog and cat wards. The practice operates as a Community Interest Company, focusing on sustainability and patient welfare, offering free consultations and transparent pricing.
