An experienced Veterinary Surgeon is sought for a well-established, RCVS accredited small animal practice in Colne, East Lancashire. This role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to develop specific interests, alongside a commitment to work-life balance with no out-of-hours requirements.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload across a main hospital site and two branches, encompassing routine consultations and surgery. There is scope to develop particular interests, especially in surgery or orthopaedics, within a collaborative clinical team.

The Practice

This RCVS accredited small animal practice in East Lancashire prioritises high-quality clinical work and a healthy personal life for its team. It operates across a main hospital site and two branches, providing proper clinical facilities including digital x-ray and ultrasound, video endoscopy, two fully equipped surgical theatres, a dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray, an in-house laboratory, and separate canine and feline wards. The practice runs its own out-of-hours service, ensuring continuity of care whilst protecting evening hours for its vets.
