Equine Farm Clinical Director - Dundee

This is an opportunity for an experienced Equine and Farm Clinical Director to lead a large animal team within a well-established, multi-branch mixed practice in Dundee, Scotland. The role offers significant autonomy and the chance to shape the department's future.

The Role

As Equine and Farm Clinical Director, you will guide and grow a team of four to five Equine and Farm vets. The caseload is varied and well-established, covering Dundee, Angus, and Fife. You will work closely with three Small Animal Clinical Directors and an experienced Practice Manager, with the autonomy to direct the department's day-to-day operations and implement ideas for service expansion, team development, and clinical standards.

The Practice

This practice has deep roots in its community and is part of a respected veterinary group. It offers a supportive structure with a 1 in 5 on-call rota, protected time off after nights, a half-day every week, and a Monday off after a weekend on-call. Facilities across two sites include equine stables and stocks, an in-house laboratory, mobile digital radiography, equine ultrasound, and a respiratory scope. Visiting specialists support advanced procedures, allowing for case retention and development.
