We're looking for an experienced, full-time Maintenance Electrician to join a team in Glasgow. You'll need a strong electrical background, enjoy problem-solving, and be able to quickly diagnose issues and restore to working order. This role is ideal for hands-on Electricians and/or Maintenance Engineers.
A 30-40 min drive from Glasgow City Centre. You will be required to travel to Renfrewshire on occasion, when needed.

Responsibilities in your new role as Maintenance Electrician
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll keep the machinery running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include, doing regular maintenance to prevent problems, quickly finding and fixing electrical and mechanical breakdowns, planning maintenance tasks to make equipment work more efficiently, and helping to set up and test new machines.
You will also follow all health and safety rules and keep accurate records of your maintenance work.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We're looking for someone with strong hand-on experience in electrical fault finding, repair, and maintenance. You'll also have solid knowledge of PLC systems, control panels, motors, and automation equipment.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from a food production manufacturing environment, solve maintenance issues efficiently, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
We are looking for someone with a 18th edition certification but if you are working towards this or your experience is not quite there yet, we still encourage you to apply, as the organisation offers development opportunities to help you grow into your role.
