Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home Chef

As our Care Home Chef, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your core duties will include expertly preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals, meticulously tailored to residents' diverse dietary needs, including managing allergens and varying textures. You'll collaborate closely with care staff, ensuring seamless service and resident satisfaction. Upholding the highest standards of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations will be paramount. Manage supply orders, menu creation, and client instruction adherence.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in a similar catering role, ideally within a care home, nursery, or educational environment, who possesses a genuine understanding of the unique dietary requirements and preferences of vulnerable individuals. You'll have excellent communication skills in English and a strong commitment to quality and safety. A valid PVG certificate or Disclosure is required, but we will also consider candidates who are willing to obtain one.
