Responsibilities in your new role as Care Home and Nursery Chef

In your role as a Care Home and Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of nutritious and delicious meals, carefully tailored to meet the diverse dietary needs of residents and children, including managing allergens and different food textures. You will work closely with other staff, ensuring seamless service and excellent communication. Adhering strictly to all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations will be paramount.

Your duties will also include efficient ordering of supplies, proactive menu planning, and diligently following all client instructions to maintain our high standards of care and culinary excellence.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and experienced chef with a genuine passion for food and people. You must hold a valid PVG check and be fluent in English to ensure clear communication within our diverse community. You will have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the Care Homes, Nursery, or Education sector, demonstrating your ability to cater for varied age groups and dietary requirements.
