Responsibilities in your new role as Head Chef
As the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen's success, overseeing all operations in close collaboration with the General Manager and Food & Beverage Manager. You'll be responsible for:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- Lead, motivate, and mentor chefs to achieve their full potential
- Create innovative menus using high-quality ingredients
- Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Drive high standards across all areas of the kitchen
- Ensure guests receive an outstanding dining experience
- Oversee food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP compliance
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen culture
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You will be a visionary Head Chef with a proven track record of progression and longevity in a similar leadership role within the hospitality sector. You will bring:
- Previous experience in a Rosette-awarded kitchen (preferred)
- Own transport is essential due to the location
- Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Passion for producing high-quality food and maintaining exceptional standards
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive kitchen environment
