Operative – Extrusion Department Location: Sheffield (S9) Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm

Forde Recruitment, a leading provider of industrial staff throughout South Yorkshire, is currently seeking an Operative on behalf of our client in Sheffield (S9).

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of bulk supply, custom manufacturing, and specialist magnetic, ferrous, and display materials. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and motivated Operative l to join their busy Extrusion Department.

The Role

As an Operative, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating extrusion machinery and associated production equipment.
• Monitoring production processes and carrying out quality checks.
• Loading raw materials and handling finished products.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assisting with machine changeovers and general production duties.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.

The Ideal Candidate

• Driving licence
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.

What's on Offer
