Responsibilities in your new role as Assistant Restaurant Manager
As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring a consistent, luxury, and personalised guest experience, from the warmest welcome to their final farewell. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Overseeing staff training, induction, and performance development
- Leading, motivating, and developing the Food & Beverage team
- Managing cash handling and daily reconciliations
- Resolving customer complaints and ensure exceptional service recovery
- Handling accidents and ensure first aid procedures are up to date
- Acting as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required
- Responding to fire panel alarms and support the safe operation of the venue
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence are maintained throughout the restaurant
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You will have proven organisational and leadership qualities, demonstrating a resilient and flexible approach to adapt your work schedule to the dynamic demands of the business.
- Previous experience in a Restaurant Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role
- Confident handling guest complaints and resolving issues professionally
- Proven experience leading, motivating, and supporting a team
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for enhancing the guest experience
