Junior Bookkeeper – Bromsgrove (Office Based)

£28,000–£30,000

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Bookkeeper who wants to grow, learn and get hands‑on experience across the full finance function. You’ll work closely with an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who’ll support your development and help you build solid accounting skills.

This role is perfect for someone early in their finance career who enjoys variety and wants real responsibility.

What you’ll do

• Daily support to the Senior Bookkeeper
• Bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Purchase & sales ledger processing
• Credit control support
• VAT preparation
• Month‑end and year‑end assistance
• Cashflow monitoring
• Balance sheet & fixed asset reconciliations
• Reporting and financial analysis
• Payroll, pensions & HMRC admin (training provided)
• General finance admin

What you’ll bring

• Some experience in bookkeeping or accounts
• Understanding of ledgers and bank recs
• Basic VAT knowledge
• Strong Excel skills
• Great organisation and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
