We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy team in Glasgow. If you have warehouse experience, a great work ethic and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, this could be the role for you. 


Responsibilities in your new role as Warehouse Operator

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Receiving, unloading and checking deliveries for accuracy 
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods 
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock counts
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently 
  • Safely moving stock using manual handling techniques and warehouse equipment 
  • Supporting the trade counter by serving customers and processing orders
  • Providing product advice and delivering excellent customer service 
  • Covering delivery driving duties during holidays and sickness absence
  • Assisting both internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and warehouse organisation


Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a reliable and motivated warehouse professional who takes pride in delivering high standards and enjoys working as part of a busy team. You have: 


  • Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment 
  • A valid UK driving licence, with the flexibility to provide delivery cover when required 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks 
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic 
  • Great communication and customer service skills 
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
