Reporting Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract)
We're looking for a qualified accountant to join a growing specialist financial services business on a fixed-term contract, supporting the monthly and quarterly financial reporting cycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 3 years' post-qualified experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to group reporting, financial controls, and business partnering.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting monthly and quarterly financial close activities
Preparing journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset accounting
Assisting with group consolidations and financial statement preparation
Managing intercompany recharges and settlements
Supporting SOX controls, audit requests and compliance activities
Preparing management accounts and financial reporting packs
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and capital reporting
Supporting accounts payable, expense processing and ad hoc finance projects
Working closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business

What we're looking for:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
Up to 3 years' post-qualified experience (insurance/reinsurance experience desirable but not essential)
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical ability
Experience with Oracle, SAP Concur or similar ERP systems is advantageous
A proactive team player with strong communication and organisational skills
