Role: Production, Warehouse & Stores Operative / Driver
Location: Lancing, West Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: £13.00 per hour, excluding holiday pay

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production, Warehouse & Stores Operative / Driver to join a well-established manufacturing company based in West Sussex.

This is a varied, hands-on and physically active temporary role with the potential to become permanent. You will support teams across production, warehouse and stores, assisting wherever required to help ensure the smooth running of daily operations. The role will also involve occasional local deliveries.

Interviews are taking place early next week, with successful candidates potentially starting the following day. Applicants must therefore be available for an immediate start.

The Requirements

• Available for an immediate start
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Previous experience within a production, warehouse or stores environment
• Comfortable undertaking physical and manual duties
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn
• Happy to support different teams and departments
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Valid Forklift Truck licence highly desirable

The Role

• Support the production, warehouse and stores teams with daily operations
• Pick, pack and prepare materials and finished products
• Receive, check and store incoming deliveries
• Move stock and materials safely around the factory
• Load and unload vehicles
• Maintain accurate and organised stock within the stores area
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties
• Complete occasional local deliveries
• Keep work areas clean and tidy
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
