Role: Business Development Executive

Location: Field-Based – Guildford

Hours: Full-time

Pay: £26,000 – £35,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join one of our excellent clients, a fast-growing distributor based in Guildford.

This is a field-based role where you will take ownership of your own territory, develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships across a range of industries.

The Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Confident and outgoing personality
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ambitious with a desire to develop a successful sales career
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory

The Role

• Develop new business opportunities across your territory
• Build relationships with customers across electrical wholesale, renewables, property development and other sectors
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Manage your own diary and customer visits
• Identify and win new business opportunities
• Promote the company’s products and services
• Deliver excellent customer service while driving sales growth
