    Location: Edinburgh & Midlothian (including Penicuik)

    Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    Salary: £12.63/hr (rising to £12.88 post-probation) | Pay award pending

    Are you a proactive care professional dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals maintain independence? We are seeking a Tenancy Support Worker to provide vital housing and community support to older adults across Edinburgh and Midlothian.

    
    The Role & Responsibilities

    Working independently across the community, you will assist service users in securing and maintaining stable accommodation. Key duties include:

    • Providing hands-on tenancy sustainment support.

    • Assisting with housing applications, including Housing Benefit and essential grants.

    • Helping individuals set up utility accounts (gas, electricity, etc.).

    • Delivering person-centred guidance to prevent homelessness and promote well-being.

    
    Requirements

    • Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience supporting older adults within a care or community setting is essential.

    • Transport: Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for community travel.

    • Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently.
