A family in London is looking for a reliable, friendly ex-teacher to help care for their two primary school-aged daughters a few afternoons a week after school.Becoming a Koru Kids nanny means you’ll use the parts of teaching you loved, supporting children’s learning, confidence and routines, while leaving behind lesson planning, marking, targets and inspections. You’ll work in a family home, with small numbers, clear expectations and genuine appreciation.You’ll spend your afternoons out and about with the children, or doing calm, meaningful activities at home like reading, homework support, creative play or baking, no classrooms, no behaviour management battles, no late nights.Your roleYou’ll be caring for children after school, supporting homework and learning in a relaxed, one-to-one environment, encouraging curiosity and confidence through play, conversation and routine.There are no formal teaching requirements for this role, but it’s ideal if you’re an ex-teacher, former TA, supply teacher or education professional who wants to keep working with children in a more sustainable way.
