Commercial Finance Manager

A high-growth Bristol-based business is looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to strengthen its FP&A and business partnering capability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Top 6 trained ACA / ACCA accountant with 2–3 years’ commercial finance or FP&A experience in industry who enjoys working closely with operational teams and influencing decision-making.

The role sits at the centre of the business, partnering with senior stakeholders across sales, operations and leadership to translate financial data into meaningful commercial insight.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a true finance business partner to sales and operational teams
• Providing insightful commercial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
• Building and maintaining financial models to support forecasting, planning and scenario analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking processes
• Challenging and supporting sales performance, holding teams accountable against targets and KPIs
• Identifying commercial opportunities and risks through data-driven analysis
• Leading and contributing to cross-functional projects
• Coaching and developing junior team members

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified (ideally trained in a Top 6 / Big 4 practice)
• 2–3 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insight
• Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence
• Comfortable providing constructive challenge to senior stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible relationships across the business
