Glaze Line Operative

Glaze Operator – Stoke-on-Trent £12.81 per hour | 4 on 4 off shift pattern | 12-hour day shifts JLC Workforce Solutions Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected ceramic manufacturer based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. With a long-standing history within the ceramics industry, our client is recognised for producing high-quality professional tableware, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques. They are looking for a reliable and hardworking Glaze Operator to join their production team. The Role: As a Glaze Operator, you will play an important role within the manufacturing process, supporting the glazing operation and ensuring products meet the required quality standards before moving through production. Duties will include:

• Operating glazing equipment safely and efficiently
• Applying glaze to ceramic products to the required specification
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Identifying any defects or quality issues during production
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Working as part of a busy production team

Working Hours:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• 12-hour day shifts
• 6:00am – 6:00pm

Pay:

• £12.81 per hour

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, ceramics, production, or a similar environment would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality products
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
