Bench Joiner – Framing Department Location: Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 5:00pm | Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: To be confirmed depending on experience JLC Workforce Solutions Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent, specialising in the design and manufacture of certified fire doors and fire door sets supplied to customers nationwide. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join their team and work within their Framing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner with recent manufacturing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality products and wants to become part of a successful and growing business. The Role:

• Working within the framing department manufacturing timber components for fire door sets
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and preparing materials to specification
• Working from drawings and production instructions
• Using a range of hand tools and woodworking machinery
• Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Recent experience working as a Bench Joiner is essential
• Previous experience within a framing or timber manufacturing environment is highly desirable
• Able to read and interpret drawings and measurements
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
