Randstad is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply cover in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to support local classrooms, help pupils thrive, and enjoy total control over your working schedule.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to boost their confidence and learning.
Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all children.
Adapting quickly to different school settings and age groups (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively.
What We Are Looking For
Experience working with children (school settings, youth clubs, sports coaching, or care).
A patient, resilient, and warm personality.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Reliability and flexibility to accept morning or advanced bookings.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
