Warehouse Shift Manager

My client is looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team. These roles offer lots of progression and development for the right people. You will lead a busy team and be responsible for the overall operation of the Warehouse.

Salary: Up to £40k

Location: Colnbrook, Slough

Warehouse Shift Manager duties:

• First line management of the Supervisors
• Complete frequent walk rounds/check ins
• Encourage an ethos of continual improvement and development
• Liaise between departments to ensure operation flows continuously
• Monitor levels of equipment and manage shortages quickly .
• Ensure daily priority of work is continuously monitored .
• Demonstrating a positive approach to the company
• Ability to manage workload efficiently
• Meet strict deadlines
• Contribute to documentation for training purposes
• Complete regular 1-2-1
• Complete return-to-work interviews and absent management procedures
• Manage holiday requests
• Monitor departmental staff overtime
• Manage breaches of conduct
