The Role: What You'll Do
As a Cover Supervisor, no two days are the same. You will be the steady hand that keeps the classroom moving forward by:
- Delivering engaging lessons planned by the class teacher during their absence.
- Keeping pupils focused, motivated, and inspired to learn.
- Managing classroom behavior effectively, in line with the school's policy.
- Lending a helping hand with lunch and break duties when needed.
- Prioritising student well-being by reporting any safeguarding concerns to the SENCO.
What We're Looking For
If you have a passion for learning and a positive attitude, we want to hear from you! To be successful, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree (in any subject).
- Previous experience working in education or a similar youth-facing role (highly advantageous).
- An Enhanced Child DBS check (or a willingness to apply for one).
- EWC registration.
