Data Modelling - Data Design - Azure Databricks - London Hybrid (2 days onsite)

I am looking for an experienced Data Modeller to join a busy team with an insurance client in London.

You will bring consistent modelling standards, governance, and clear design patterns across a Medallion Architecture built on Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. You'll work closely with product owners, data architects, and engineers so that data structures are reusable, performing, and aligned to enterprise principles.

I'm therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

• Strong experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Background in designing enterprise-scale data products and analytical data models.
• Proficiency with recognised data modelling methodologies, best practices, and source-to-target mapping.
• Advanced SQL skills, with understanding of data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and data quality issue resolution.
• Experience with data governance and metadata management tools, plus knowledge of master and reference data management.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse architectures, Data Mesh principles, and data governance frameworks.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Understanding of Azure data services including Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Exposure to insurance data domains (desirable).
