Systems Controller - D365

The Opportunity

You’ll support the Head of Finance Operations Projects & MI across all aspects of finance system management within D365. From process design and data migration to system configuration and testing, your work will underpin the scalability and effectiveness of the finance organisation. This is an exciting chance to contribute to a global transformation, embedding best practice across Finance and helping shape the future of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial legal entity builds and maintenance within Microsoft D365 F&O, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all finance structures.
• Manage financial transaction flows and system controls to support accurate internal and external reporting.
• Oversee data migration, cleansing, and rationalisation activities to support system and process improvement.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of finance-related system changes.
• Design and deliver exception and validation reports, ensuring ongoing system integrity.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and training to embed strong user adoption and governance.
• Support BI and MI reporting requirements, leveraging Power BI to enhance insight and performance monitoring.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in finance systems management, ideally within a global or multi-entity environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end RTR processes and finance operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and control.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-specialists.
• CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification (or qualified by experience).
• Collaborative, proactive, and detail-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
