Role OverviewIn this capacity, you will provide essential 1:1 support to primary students with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), and those requiring support with challenging behaviour. Every student's journey is unique, and you will play a pivotal role in tailoring support to ensure each step is a step forward.
Responsibilities- Deliver tailored, proactive support to keep students engaged and facilitate academic progress.
- Assist with classroom activities, adapting pedagogical approaches to accommodate individual learning styles.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff to maintain a consistent and positive learning environment.
- Build trusting, professional relationships with students to foster both emotional and academic growth.
- Prior experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, or challenging behaviour in an educational, care, or youth setting.
- A patient, adaptable, and professional approach to primary education.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a demonstrated willingness to apply for one.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional standards.
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
