Senior Data Engineer

Contract | 6+ Months | Hybrid, London | £450 per day (Outside IR35)

We're partnering with a global luxury consumer brand undergoing a significant investment in its data and analytics capability. They are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to build and enhance their marketing data infrastructure, creating scalable solutions that will support the business long term.

This is a hands-on contract for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving data architecture and leaving behind robust, future-proof systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable marketing data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines across multiple marketing platforms.
• Improve existing architecture, removing technical debt and increasing reliability.
• Integrate data from a range of digital marketing and CRM platforms.
• Work closely with analytics and commercial teams to ensure high-quality, accessible data.
• Recommend best practice tools, integrations and approaches for long-term scalability.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of BigQuery.
• Experience working with GA4, Google Ads, Meta and HubSpot.
• Proven experience building marketing data warehouses and pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable data solutions.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
