About the role

Taylor Hopkinson is currently in active pursuit of a Product Manager for a global leader in utility-scale solar tracker technology, the company designs and manufactures innovative single-axis tracking systems that maximize solar energy production and support GM of renewable energy projects worldwide. We are seeking a creative, technically driven, and innovative professional who will drive the success and continuous improvement of a single-axis solar tracker product line. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority collaborating with internal teams, customers, and engineering stakeholders to optimize product performance, support market growth, and drive future product innovation. Key Responsibilities Support the Business Development and Applications Engineering teams during high-level technical discussions with customers, helping position Genius Tracker solutions and secure approvals on customer-approved vendor lists. Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all aspects of the Genius Tracker product line, supporting both technical and non-technical teams. Communicate product updates, including component enhancements, design improvements, and new configurations, across the organization. Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation, specifications, manuals, and product-related materials. Develop and deliver training programs for technical and non-technical employees to increase product knowledge and capabilities. Manage the customer feedback loop by gathering insights from clients and collaborating with the R&D team to influence product improvements and future innovations. Stay current on solar industry trends, including advancements in photovoltaic modules, tracker technologies, and market developments. Conduct regular competitor analysis and benchmarking to evaluate market offerings, identify opportunities, and maintain a competitive product advantage. Maintain strong knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving design standards through continuous research and technical evaluation. Develop technical content, including white papers and product documentation, to clearly communicate product advantages and differentiate Genius Tracker solutions in the marketplace. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry. Required experience with single-axis solar tracking systems. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and technical reports. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and consistently deliver results according to project timelines. Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply relevant engineering codes and industry standards. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Highly self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. This candidate must be in Miami, Florida or Mexico City
