About the role
Cable Installation Engineer Lead for a major offshore wind project in The UK Responsibilities Report to the IAC Work Package Manager Support the WPM in the technical management of the IAC T&I scope. Be specifically responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the IAC T&I works. Ensure that the IAC T&I contractor technically executes the works as per the quality standards set up within the Projects. Interface closely with the EPC work packages, as well as defining the T&I Contractor requirements, reviewing supplier deliverables and ensuring the package is executed within budget, schedule and technical requirements. Efficiently interface with all other technical work packages (OSP, Electrical, Export Cable, Geo, etc.) as well as other internal stakeholders regarding the IAC scope specific requirements. Experience & Job Requirements A master's degree or the equivalent in engineering or industrial engineering; Your knowledge on cables related scopes including engineering, tendering, installation and burial activities. A proven 10 years track record in working with/in cross-functional teams in offshore construction projects and high confidence with effective stakeholder management.
