About the role
Opportunity to join a global leading renewable energy developer company as Project Manager / Project Development Manager , responsibilities will be varied based on different stages of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, along with strong knowledge of project development in green energy industry(either solar, BESS or wind) In this role you will cover utility size solar, BESS and wind project Location: Warsaw Project Development Support Support the development of BESS and wind energy projects in Poland Participate in project evaluation from an engineering and constructability perspective Review technical documentation, grid connection conditions, layouts and development assumptions Support site assessment, technical feasibility analysis and project optimization Identify technical, construction and execution risks during the development phase Coordinate with external developers, technical advisors, consultants and grid operators Engineering & EPC Coordination Support preparation for future project execution and EPC activities Participate in technical discussions with EPC contractors, OEMs and engineering consultants Assist in preparation and review of technical specifications, scope of work and tender documentation Provide engineering input on project CAPEX, schedule and implementation strategy Support technical due diligence processes for project acquisitions Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with development, legal, finance, transaction and technical teams Support project permitting and grid-related discussions from a technical perspective Participate in meetings, negotiations and site visits Coordinate technical workstreams and track project progress Future Project Execution Potentially take on Project Manager responsibilities once projects move into construction Support management of EPC execution, construction progress, quality and commissioning activities Requirements Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field Professional Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector Experience in wind, BESS and/or utility-scale PV projects Previous EPC, engineering, construction or owner's engineer experience Understanding of the full renewable project lifecycle from development to construction Ability to review technical documentation and identify execution risks Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and external consultants Preferred Qualifications Experience working for renewable energy developers, IPPs or integrated project platforms Familiarity with grid connection processes and technical interfaces with TSO/DSO Experience supporting project acquisitions or technical due diligence Knowledge of EPC contracts and project execution practices Project management experience would be a strong advantage Skills & Competencies Practical understanding of project execution and construction realities Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment Strong communication and coordination skills Hands-on and proactive working style Native language skills and fluent English skill
