Controls Engineer

Due to a long serving employee retiring there is an interesting and exciting opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer to join my client, an automation solution consultancy company based in Hampshire, who are involved in all areas of projects, providing design and support to their clients, some of the Worlds leading manufacturing and process companies across a wide range of industrial sectors.

Role:

The role of control engineer is extremely important as you are crucial in ensuring the company exceeds expectations of our clients. Your technical knowledge, abilities and project team membership ensures the best outcomes for your and other projects. The successful Controls Engineer will be required to supply professional automation, control and instrumentation services and manage multi-skill projects consisting of single controllers in standalone applications. When sufficiently experienced and with backup from a senior control engineer, the successful candidate will also manage multi controller projects. You will also carry out or to manage others, as required by project objectives, in necessary activities such as Hardware Design, Panel Building, Installation, and Commissioning of industrial control Systems, data collection and processing systems & instrumentation. You will also be involved with electrical Systems up to and including 415V AC and be able to write Software for PLCs, Controllers and Computers etc. and select and Configure SCADA systems and write technical manuals for projects.

Requirements:

Proven ability in modern Industrial Control and Instrumentation System Design
Minimum HNC + minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial design environment.
Current valid Passport
Full UK Driving License
Will require own transport to visit client`s sites.

Package:

Salary: £30K – £40K DOE
