Project Manager

Due to expansion my client are recruiting for a Project Manager. My client are an established and renowned packaging solutions provider with their trays, pallets, dollies, stackable boxes, pails, containers and crate products. The ideal candidate will have a proven project management, design and product development background. The role requires travel throughout UK and Europe and comes with a rewarding package including a company vehicle.

Role:

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for bottle crates and a diversity of other material handling such as pails, pallets and containers and other related packaging solution products. Develop new products liaising with appropriate departments, key stakeholders, internal and external. Deliver projects to specification, time and budget. Set up projects, carry out project planning, create, maintain and update the design brief, technical specifications, customer presentations, quality assurance and technical documentation. Determine raw materials, manufacturing processes, product assembly and storage methods. Give internal & external product presentations. Assist in solving technical issues and problems.
Develop product design concepts. Provide models, prototypes for visual and or testing purposes. Translate customer wishes into product characteristics and features.

Requirement:

Proven Project Management & Design background
Knowledge of plastics processing to include Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Welding, Extrusion and other technologies.
Knowledge of processing equipment to include injection moulding machines, moulds and dies
UK retail market knowledge
Management skills and experience in leadership
Excellent written and communication skills.
Valid passport and clean driving license
Willingness to travel across the UK & Europe
