Join Our Team as a Mechanical Vehicle Inspector

We are currently seeking two Mechanical Vehicle Inspectors to join our growing automotive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dealership experience completing Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs), a recently qualified automotive apprentice, or a technician looking to move into a less physically demanding role while remaining within the motor industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed mechanical vehicle inspections and assessments.
• Complete accurate Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) in line with company and manufacturer standards.
• Identify and report mechanical defects, wear and tear, and maintenance requirements.
• Produce clear and accurate inspection reports.
• Ensure all inspections are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work closely with workshop and service teams to communicate vehicle conditions and recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience completing Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) within a dealership or automotive environment.
• OR a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• MOT Class 4 qualification preferred but not essential.
• Good mechanical knowledge and an eye for detail.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
