Logistics Team Leader - Sevenoaks
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum | Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm

Our client, a reputable company with multiple store locations, is hiring for a dedicated Logistics Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations. This hands-on role involves leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

What you will be doing:
* Act as the main point of contact for warehouse staff, allocating tasks and supporting team performance.
* Oversee unloading, inspecting, and logging inbound deliveries, ensuring goods are stored correctly.
* Lead order picking, packing, and dispatch activities, liaising with couriers to meet delivery deadlines.
* Promote health and safety compliance, ensuring safe use of equipment and a clean working environment.
* Support stock management through cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse processes.

What you will bring:
* Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with leadership or supervisory exposure.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team.
* Good IT skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
* Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
* A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
