Overview
An established and growing contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven QS to work across a range of projects, gaining exposure to both UK and ROI sites while developing within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role
You will play a key role within the commercial function, supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and management of project cost plans and budgets
• Measurement, valuation, and agreement of works
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts
• Cost reporting and commercial forecasting
• Managing variations and change control processes
• Liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial efficiency
• Supporting project delivery across multiple live sites

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of construction processes
• Ability to manage costs across multiple projects
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard QS systems

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience within drylining / ceilings / interior fit-out projects

Role will involve travel across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and the UK
Flexibility for overnight stays is essential
