About the role
Yard Operative
Cookstown
£28-30k
Mon – Thu 8am-5pm Fri 8am-2pm
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative.
Role:
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Pick, prepare, and dispatch customer orders.
- Operate yard equipment and machinery, such as forklifts
- Maintain stock accuracy and assist with stock checks.
- Keep the yard clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Assist customers and drivers with collections and deliveries.
- Support other warehouse and yard activities as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Reliable and punctual.
