Fully Qualified Accountant – Competitive salary

BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be working alongside a successful Accountancy Practice in Coleraine to recruit for their full-time Qualified Accountant position – offering an excellent package, including a competitive salary and great career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end financial statements for Sole trade, Partnership and Limited Companies
• Self-assessment tax returns for self-employed, partnerships and individuals
• Capital gains tax computations
• Completion of VAT returns in line with MTD
• Preparation of management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis using a variety of cloud-based software (mainly QBO and Xero)
• Forming excellent client relationships
• Responsible for service delivery and seeking opportunities to add value
• Assisting with Payroll & CIS and liaising with HMRC, where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (1–3 years preferred)

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

• Willingness to learn and grow into a more senior finance role
