Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Van Driver to join our busy logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving and delivery, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to multiple locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured and handled safely.
- Communicate with the logistics team to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
- Record weights, dimensions, and delivery information using the in-house app.
- Assist with warehouse tasks at the start and end of each day.
- Use a mobile app to clock in/out and submit time-off requests.
- Proven experience in van driving and logistics.
- Competent in manual handling and securing loads.
- Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding tasks.
- Flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends when needed.
- Comfortable using a smartphone app for deliveries and timekeeping.
