Experienced Live-Out Nanny – Monaco

A warm and welcoming family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced, flexible, and professional, Native English-speaking Nanny to care for their baby and 3-year-old.

This is a long-term, live-out position and would suit a nanny who already has accommodation within easy commuting distance of Monaco.

The family is looking for a caring and proactive candidate who is confident caring for both a baby and a young child, and who is happy to travel regularly with the family throughout the year.

The eldest child attends nursery from 9:00am to 12:00pm during the week, excluding school holidays.

Live-out position
Candidates must have their own accommodation close to Monaco.

Schedule in Monaco

The nanny will work:

• Friday – 12-hour shift
• Saturday – 12-hour shift
• Sunday – 12-hour shift
• One evening of babysitting per week

Typical working hours will be approximately:

• 7:00am – 7:00pm or
• 8:00am – 8:00pm

The position averages approximately 39 hours per week.

Duties

• Sole and shared care of both children
• Cooking balanced and nutritious meals from scratch for both children
• Full nursery duties
• Supporting the baby’s feeding, sleep, and developmental routines
• Nursery drop-off and collection support where required
• Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
• Organising outings and activities
• Children’s meal preparation
• Maintaining children’s bedrooms, clothing, and play areas
• Supporting bedtime routines
• Occasional babysitting
• Travelling with the family as required

Travel Requirements

The family spends a significant amount of time travelling and requires a nanny who is happy to accompany them.

French Riviera (July & August)

The family spends the summer in Ramatuelle.

During this period, the nanny will work typically:

• 4–5 consecutive days on duty
• Followed by approximately 4 days off

Whilst on duty in Ramatuelle, flexibility is essential as childcare support may be required throughout the day and evening depending on the family’s schedule.

The Alps (winter months)

The family also spends approximately one to two months per year in The Alps.

The nanny will be required to travel with the family during these periods and will receive an additional travel allowance/remuneration for time spent working in The Alps.

Whilst travelling, the nanny will be expected to share a room with the children when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous professional nanny experience with babies and toddlers
• Experience working within private households
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Happy to travel extensively
• Confident managing routines for multiple young children
• Energetic, organised, and proactive
• Excellent references
• Paediatric First Aid certification preferred
• Fluent English essential; additional languages welcomed

Salary

• €3,800 net per month (part declared employment)
• Additional remuneration provided when accompanying the family to The Alps
• Travel expenses and accommodation provided whilst travelling
