A lovely family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive live-out Housekeeper/Cook to join their household on a long-term basis.

This is a varied role combining housekeeping, family cooking and occasional assistance with the family’s two young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organised home, preparing healthy meals, managing laundry and household errands, and providing a warm, family-friendly presence.

The family is looking for someone who is efficient, takes pride in their work, plans ahead, and is able to work independently while also following instructions when required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working in a private household
• Be a competent cook, confident preparing healthy family meals
• Have exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Be child-friendly and happy to assist with the family’s two young children when required
• Speak fluent English (French is advantageous but not essential)
• Be proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative
• Be discreet, trustworthy and respectful of the family’s privacy
• Be flexible to work both weekdays and every other weekend

Duties will include:

• Daily housekeeping and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
• Preparing healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the family
• Meal planning and grocery shopping
• Running household errands
• Keeping the home well stocked and organised
• Following the family’s preferences and instructions for cleaning, cooking and laundry
• Providing occasional assistance with the family’s children as required
• Assisting with general household organisation and ensuring the home runs smoothly

Hours

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.

The schedule includes working every other weekend. When a weekend is worked, the successful candidate will receive two days off during the following week, ensuring the average working hours remain at 40 hours per week.

Occasional babysitting may be requested from time to time and will be paid in addition to the agreed salary.

Salary

€18 per hour, plus additional payment for any agreed babysitting hours.
