What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the Chemistry department, driving pedagogical and curriculum innovation
Modelling outstanding teaching – setting the standard for staff and students
Developing and implementing action plans to raise attainment and engagement
Supporting, mentoring, and developing other Chemistry teachers and ECTs
Coordinating enrichment, university outreach, Olympiad participation and STEM clubs

Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a Chemistry specialism
Track record of Good or Outstanding classroom practice – references essential
Leadership experience in science – or a proven aspiration for such
