Our client, a well-established independent optical practice, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Dispensing Optician to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an independent environment where patient care, attention to detail, and personalised service are at the heart of everything they do.

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner

• Work closely with Optometrists and Optical Assistants to support eye examinations and patient care

• Provide advice on frame selection, lens options, and aftercare services

• Ensure a smooth handover from the consulting room to the dispensing process

• Manage appointments, patient records, and general administrative duties

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the practice

• Build strong relationships with patients, offering a personalised and reassuring service

• Qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered)

• Professional, approachable, and patient-focused

• Confident in dispensing, measurements, and product recommendations

• A team player who thrives in an independent practice environment
