Optometrist - Fishguard

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Optometrist to join a well-established independent optical practice in the beautiful coastal town of Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. Situated on Wales’ stunning western coastline, Fishguard offers an excellent quality of life, combining scenic coastal views, a welcoming local community, and easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. We’re looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our client’s friendly and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision testing

• Detect and manage eye conditions and refer when necessary

• Provide advice on lenses, frames, and eye health

• Support dispensing staff to ensure smooth practice operations

• Maintain GOC registration and professional standards

About You

• GOC-registered Optometrist

• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient communication

• Professional, reliable, and team-focused
