Highlights of the area include: We are delighted to be supporting a well‑established group practice in the Essex area, who are seeking an Optometrist to join their friendly, supportive team in Harwich. As an Optometrist within this vibrant practice, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality eye care. Main responsibilities typically include:

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and refractions with a professional and patient‑focused approach.

• Monitoring and managing eye health conditions, identifying abnormalities and referring externally when necessary.

• Advising on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to individual needs.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Building excellent rapport with patients and contributing to the professional growth of the practice.

• Harwich is served by Harwich International and Dovercourt stations. Harwich International has regular connections to London Liverpool Street and other regional destinations via Greater Anglia services.
