Global Talent Acquisition Director

Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the global talent acquisition strategy, with primary responsibility for Europe, ensuring recruitment activities are aligned with business growth and workforce planning objectives. Establish and continuously improve overseas recruitment frameworks and processes, including talent mapping, market benchmarking, and governance standards, ensuring consistency and scalability across regions. Represent the organisation at relevant recruitment events, industry forums, and professional networks, building long‑term talent pipelines within targeted sectors. Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for senior leadership and critical roles, including Director‑level and executive positions, using proactive sourcing and market intelligence to engage hard‑to‑reach talent. Ensure recruitment practices are fully compliant with EU labour legislation, local employment regulations, and data protection requirements (GDPR), while promoting a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate experience. Act as a strategic partner to HR and business leadership, providing insight into talent availability, market trends, and workforce risks. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 5 years in international or cross‑border recruitment. Demonstrated experience delivering senior‑level and high‑volume hiring in international environments. Sector experience in renewable energy (offshore wind / solar), heavy industrial manufacturing, or shipping & logistics is highly desirable. Strong working knowledge of European labour law, employment practices, and local recruitment markets. Fluent English required, additional European languages (e.g. German, Spanish, French, Polish) are an advantage. This position offers remote working flexibility and may be based in Spain, Germany, the UK, Poland, or Beijing, China (Headquarters).
