Project Development Director

Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Project Development Director on behalf of a global leader in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth strategy in Italy, leading the local development team, and representing the business in the market. This senior leadership position is accountable for managing the full life-cycle of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the development of renewable energy projects across Italy from origination through to commercial operation Drive the strategic direction of the Italian business in line with corporate objectives Lead, mentor, and grow the Italian development team to ensure delivery of high-quality projects Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade fairs, and public forums Requirements: Proven track record (7+ years) in renewable energy project development, with direct experience in Italy Solid understanding of the Italian regulatory framework and permitting processes for renewable projects Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
